DESCRIPTION:
Quillaja liquid extract is the concentrated
natural extract of the Chilean Soap Bark
Tree Quillaja saponaria Mol.. It contains
no solvents or carriers. It is comercializad
by BASF.
REGULATORY:
Quillaja saponaria Mol. is approved for
use in food and beverages by the FDA under
21 CFR 172.510, FEMA GRAS number 2973. It
is approved for its use in the European
Union in water-based non-alcoholic drinks,
under code E 999. Current CAS number: 68990-67-0.
RECOMMENDED USES:
Natural nematode control, wetting agent,
bipropellant, plant growth stimulant.
