COSMETICS QL ULTRA,
PURIFIED QUILLAJA SAPONINS NATURAL NON-IONIC
SURFACTANT
Due to its excellent detergent properties,
Chilean indigenous people have used aqueous
quillaja extracts for centuries to wash
their hair and clothes. These extracts contain
not only saponins, but other compounds that
affect product stability, such as polyphenols,
salts and proteins.
To attain stable formulations, QL ULTRA
is purified with ultrafiltration membranes
to remove non-saponin compounds.
